I've been working on a sims 2 legacy! I'll eventually upload all the lore here but I wanted to start w a tour of the house as it currently exists bc I think it looks nice :) Now updated as of 3/1/25! I thought it would be cool to keep the original photos but keep updating as the house changes (because it changes a looot)

this is what it looks like from the outside! it's built off the old silo in veronaville and currently has 5bdr (technically 6 but 1 isnot being used atm) and 3 bathrooms (1/3/25 it now has 7!) the living room- not currently getting a ton of use, although my current heir Bai is a big foodnetwork fan and watches it from time to time. big planner on the wall to keep track of everybody's schedules Chun has since taken over as heir as Bai has passed on and redecorated the house! Not a dramatic difference in the living room, the big planner on the wall is still there as there's currently somehow 6 children. The more traditional farmhouse vibes have been made a bit more current and modern. please ignore my heir painting in her lingerie it was like 4am when i took these screenshots. anyways the house uses ladders in the silo to go from floor to floor. does this cause issues? yes. am i going to fix it? no. sidenote the education career reward bookshelf is a godsend even if its kinda ugly lol the ladders have been replaced! now there's handy spiral stairs which causes a lot less issues. Now there is the stinky dog bed as the Thing I Am Embarassed About. the two dogs are Angus (big) and Hershey (smol) btw! I'll do a characters page eventually..... Bai and her husband Ryder's room! this is actually her childhood bedroom, the master is owned by Wendy, the woman who raised her, and her wife Cassidy. Wendy actually passed recently in game but it's a little too soon to be reconfiguring living arrangements Now converted into a bedroom for the twins Damien and Dorothy! Chun and Nadia, their wife, tend to prefer bolder colour combinations than their predecessor the bedroom of the future heir Chun. They're non-binary and super into aliens and science. they're working babysitting their uh, cousin? ig? family trees are complicated. Now a spare bedroom! Fun fact I actually took these screenshots a while ago gameplaywise and they've actually moved bedrooms around a lot. But this was an interesting transitionary time for the family, so I'm going to keep posting as if they're new the kitchen! Bai is a chef so she's saved up and has some nice appliances. There's never been enough seating in the kitchen but set meal times aren't especially common, mostly Bai just makes a bunch of grilled cheese and puts it in the fridge for people to eat at their leisure (she's a little obsessed since her mom died in a grill cheese related fire when she was young) Mostly just happy with the new ceiling! I think it looks really nice. They also replaced the old wallpaper with some nice marble. maybe not the most practical when it comes to kitchen design but it looks really pretty! They still need a new table though, there's 4 spots and 8 members in the family (2 of which are currently toddlers) so it's going to be a problem pretty soon! 2nd child Celia's room. she's about 12 and spends most of her time skating Now Dione's room! She's the alien girl, born the same year as her sister Dana. They're like twins but twins if both parents were pregnant at the same time and also only half related. You know. typical family stuff the youngest child Chance's room, converted from an office. He just aged up and looks up to his sister a lot. i have no idea what happened to the ceiling Now my heir Dana's room! She's trans and sooooo cute. Really likes cooking like her grandma! third floor silo space. it's pretty cramped so the silo doesn't get a ton of use but i love this chair and put some storage in to make it look a bit more like a house that people actually live in and on the top floor is the master! I love this furniture set.... maybe I should start linking cc I use and like. As a lot of these pictures the space is a lot bigger bc sims 2 rooms just. need to be kinda big. but on the other side is just a bookcase and a chaise lounge, not really interesting enough to show the bathrooms aren't that interesting so here they are from top to bottom. toilets largely not pcitured bc i have some sloppy sims and the house robot/servant moved out recently to follow his dreams so they're not getting cleaned as much as they should. the basement is mostly Cassidy's space. She's into both robots and yoga. she contains multitudes. The robot/servant mentioned earlier (Charles) had a bedroom down here but as said he's pursuing his dreams of being a ballet dancer and is currently dating Cassidy and Wendy's daughter Billy (maybe I should do a lore page.......)
